The Problem
The Admission Office of this university is considering
revising the policy of recruiting students. As a
first step in this process, the university wishes to find
out from how far students are coming and their reasons
for choosing this university. You are assigned this
project to assist the university in collecting the data,
analyzing the data, and making a report of your findings.
Objectives
1. Learn the importance of proper measurement.
2. Learn the concepts of central tendency and variation.
3. Learn the concepts of distribution and the
shape of distribution.
4. Learn to construct and interpret graphical methods and numerical summary
techniques.
5. Learn to construct and interpret two-way
tables.
