Are you left handed or right handed?

The Problem

Are you left handed or right handed?  When you clasp your hands together and intertwine your fingers, which thumb is on the top (left or right)?  Do you think a left handed person will have a higher probability that his/her left thumb will be on top and vice versa?

Objectives

1.  Learn the concept of independent/dependent events.

2.  Learn conditional probability.

3.  Learn multiplicative rule.
